Note 4 How many have disabled flipboard from home screen?

Re: How many have disabled flipboard from home screen?

Turned off/disabled. No interest in it, so why let it eat up battery.

Right a way. I tried it out on the Note 3 but not enough config possible. I since went to Nova for the backing up home screens. Touchwiz is ok and not injecting lag like it used to but....
Backing up my home screen icon layouts? Those dudes at Nova are my friend :}

Re: How many have disabled flipboard from home screen?

I think my home screens are efficiently organized by topic. If I could specify sources to include I might think more of flipboard but I already have solutions for content and the Flip doesn't add any.

Not a fan of the app so I disabled it in the homescreen settings. I also disabled it in application settings but not sure if that is likely to lead to any other problems. Did the same with Dropbox, Facebook, HP Print Service Plugin, Instagram, Messenger, Pages Manager, Pen.up and S Voice. Again, not entirely sure if that will lead to issues elsewhere but I have no intention of using those apps.

How to disable it?
I installed Nova the first day. So I'm interested did I have to disable it prior changing the launcher.

I did, I keep forgetting I have that app.

I disabled it. It was uncomfortable being located after the last left swipe.

I disabled. I was not wild about it on the demo unit, and I never used it on my phone. Like many, I switched over to the Google Launcher b/c I like Google Now as my left most screen. Flipboard is fine, but I use other news aggregators.

Disabling it in application settings seems to create an error in the camera app so I re-enabled it and just left the home key settings in the app disabled.

Interesting. What kind of error? I have it disabled but have not received any errors.
