hey, we all expect what we buy to be perfect, whether its a 20 dollar can opener, or a 50k car, but, unfortunately we live in a time where corporate profits always out trump product perfection.
unless you can afford a hand made, limited production item, this is the world we are now stuck in..
and, to the poster who thought that Apple products came out "flawless" under Steve Jobs, do you think he stood on the assembly line and inspected every phone that came off it? Their defect rate wasn't much less than any other mfg, since he used farmed out, low priced,foreign assembly companies just like every other consumer electronics company did/does...
