Note 5 email sync issue- won't show emails as read after i open on desktop

Hi,
I use 2 email accounts on my Note5- my work microsoft exchange and gmail. Until this weekend had no issues at all.

Now, I receive emails on both accounts no problem. If I open an email on my desktop (correspnding with my microsoft exchange account) then it will not synce on my phone and show as opened. I now need to manually open each email on my phone so that it shows as being opened.

I have no issues with the gmail account at all.

I must have done something, as this is a new issue with my Note5 and only for 1 email account.

Any thoughts help...

I just started experiencing the same issue with my Microsoft Exchange account also. I believe it started happening after the update yesterday.
