Note 5 Losing MP3s overtime.

I have a Note 5 1786 MP3s stored on it currently. It used to be more like 1806, but somehow they are deleted from my phone overtime possibly when the cache and what not is cleared (have to do this frequently as I need to keep space freed up and you can't expand memory on these). Why is this happening and how can I stop it?

Welcome to Android Central! Where are those mp3 files saved to? Are they in their own directory, or are they in the Download directory?

Sorry, I've been having issues witg signing in here... They were in multiple places, but in the time between now and then, I backed all of my music up on my pc and moved everything to a music folder on my phone. Over a thousand were in the download folder. Should moving all my music to a folder labeled "Music" be the fix?

Some phones (and some 3rd party phone cleaner apps) may periodically clean out your Download directory, so things should be fine if you moved all of the music to a Music directory.
