I'm using nova. The grid can be changed in desktop settings with nova. Choose grid settings. Thanks for the comment..

yes, I have used Desktop Grid before but, which number would I choose, like 2 | 3 | 4 etc (horizontal).... Would I check Subgrid Positiioning?

Okay, I tried those settings. But, then everything shifted over to the top left corner. I messed with the width and height padding, however, it's not making any difference. This is what is happening to mine.

Pretty sure you have to delete the apps to the very left and the ones along the very top to have your layout reflect your intended result...
