Very simple question. The title says it all.
I know its way too early, but I already know of a few that made this jump.
Are u able to live without the S pen?
Is the difference noticeable?
Is your Note 5 a very expensive paper weight now?
Or are u already thinking of returning the S7E and holding out for the Note 6?

I had a Note 5 and just went to the S7E. If you are addicted to the spen, do not upgrade because you will miss it.

Otherwise, I think it depends on what you want that the Note 5 doesn't already offer. For me, I wanted the bigger battery, low light camera and spiffy look. I was always envious of my wife's Edge+. So far I ready love this phone. Performance wise, there isn't a huge difference imo.

However I do have a backup as I kept my Note as well.

I don't have my s7 edge yet, but I don't use the s pen much so it wouldn't really matter too much. With that said, I don't expect it to be faster, I got the s7 edge for the better camera and ip68.

Worth it - of course. Note and Edge are totally different designs/concepts. I used my PEN all the time on Note 2,3,4 - not much at all on 5 so I dont plan to miss it on the edge. If Note 6 is a 6 inch with pen/edge option I may go back to Note instead of iphone 7.

I'm using both for now. My S7 Edge will be my main phone and I'll mostly just use the Note 5 at home. I get more then double the battery life on my S7 Edge. I can barely get 2 hrs screen time on my Note 5.

You didn't answer the op question. Is it worth it to upgrade? Not all of us can afford to keep both phones.

Wow. Only 2 hours of SOT? That's terrible. That's worse than my S6.

Yeah, I'm not happy with it. 14hrs standby with 57 minutes screen time and 43% battery.

I got 5 hrs screen time earlier today on a full charge on my S7 Edge with 1 day 4 hrs standby. This phone is worth every cent I paid for it.

5 hours sot over 20 hours with my note 5 religiously, without fail everyday. Looking forward to 20 hours with 7 sot on the S7 Edge.

I've just reset my Note 5 to factory once again and I'm just going to a install apps very slowly until I find out what is using my battery life. I have no idea what it could be because I have all the same things running on my S7 Edge.

Do the note 5's have android M?

Wow. How could the Note not have that update already? Crazy. I'm sure once it does get it it will run a lil more efficient.

I won't have the S7 Edge until tomorrow and am currently using the Note 5, but I've had some hands-on time with it and I'd say it's worth the upgrade. Now I don't use the S Pen a lot so that probably has a lot to do with it, but the Edge checks off a few boxes the Note doesn't (or doesn't as much). There's a 600 mah larger battery in a smaller device, it's more durable, has microSD support, and looks to have improved the low light performance/speed of the camera by quite a bit. For me, that's enough to warrant a switch, but I'd completely understand if someone wanted to keep the Note 5 and wait. To me, that says more about how awesome the Note 5 still is than anything else.
