Note 5 vs iPhone 6s

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

I don't know, I think the chance of your Spen spontaneously combusting is probably pretty slim...
I hope so. The funny thing is now I think about it. If I had never read those posts I wouldn't have a worry in the world about it. I enjoy looking through the forums, but I don't like the anxiety that it creates when I read about problems.

I should be the one worrying. My kids saw me writing on my phone today. "oh cool daddy.. Let me try".

Ha. That has happened to me too. They think the pen is the coolest thing. Want me to download coloring books.

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

My 4 year old says "is there a pen for the iPad". Oh my lol
I can always count on my little ones to tell me the truth about things. Last year, I got a divorce so I decided to give my oldest a phone so she could call and text me whenever. She's 7. I bought her an iPhone 4s. About a week later, I bought the Note 4. She asked me why I didn't get her a phone like I had. I told her that she had an iPhone, people love them. She asked why. She said it was too small and it didn't have a pen. She complained incessantly until I gave her my original Note that I found. She was happy then.

Same here, my kids love it. My 5 year old is always drawing things in art rage and my 7 year old is making a book in SNote about monsters and he even prints out the pages. Ha

You trust your kids with your Note?

I get anxiety all the time from these forums. If I didn't come here, I'd be much happier with whatever phone I had! I, too, love reading the forums and helping out where I can, but the anxiety is an issue.

I tried cutting down on the forums, but I like the conversations. But as you and I both know, it can be a pain too. BTW, what device do you have now?

I do indeed. I just ask them not to run around the house with it. They've even mastered the seemingly very difficult concept that the pen goes back in the same way it comes out.... Imagine that!

Lol. If only they could teach some adults that.

Yeah, we're definitely in the same boat there with the forums. And I'm on a 6P right now. It's stock Android or bust for me!!

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

I'm getting irritated with myself because I keep switching back and forth between the two platforms. I just want to make a decision already and stick with it. Had the iPhone 6S on launch weekend. Nothing wrong with it. Really enjoyed it actually. And it complemented my iPad Air 2 perfectly. But yesterday was day 13 of my 14 day return window and I panicked. Went out and exchanged it for the Note 5. Bought a case, screen protector, and wireless charger. So, I'm all in. Haven't touched my beloved iPad since. Now here is the problem. When I use the note, I don't want to use any complementary devices. After a while, I miss my iPad and I want to switch back, but I need the iPhone to go with it. I have been doing this for years. And it's making me feel quite ridiculous. But I can't choose. And I don't know why.

That is what they want you to feel. They want to use be on only one OS with all your devices. YOu just have to decide what suits your needs more and stick to it. I myself enjoy having more than one platform to use. Sure the syncing between devices isn't great, but then you have to decide if that is important to you. Both phones you had were great phones. You will find in the next few releases, Apple's "+" phones will be closer in use to Samsung's Note series. Look Apple just released the iPencil.

I just saw the commercial for the iPad Pro. Looks really cool with the pencil.
