Note 5 vs iPhone 6s

I've been thinking of buying a used 2014 Moto X for $200 on swappa just to play around with and switch back and forth between my 6 plus.
My friend's advocacy of his Moto X 2014 is the reason I picked up the newer MXPE. Be careful you might fall in love with the Moto X 2014 if you do decide to pull the trigger.

Haha I understand the addition well. I gave up the Note5 and got the 6S Plus, a Nexus 6p, and a MXPE.

Bought my dad an iPad Air 2 for his bday and have been trying to justify an iPad Pro purchase for myself for most of December lol. But alas, I still can't seem to find a consistent use case to own a tablet. Boo...

Congrats on your new toys

The Shield is great value, but I can't seem to find a time where I'd pick it up over my 6 plus.

Exactly right. I had a friend who had an iPad mini 2 and a 6 Plus. He loved his iPad mini... until he got his 6 Plus lol.

He upgraded and got the 6s as opposed to the Plus this past cycle. Went back to using and enjoying his mini as a result lol

I'll gladly take my Plus over any tablet at this point.

This is why I'm looking at the 2014 Moto X. It's smaller. The 6 plus is really big and difficult to use with one hand. But it is a joy to use to consume videos and games on. And the battery life is superb. But when I need to use it with one hand, it's awkward.

My biggest gripe with larger devices is that carrying them around gets to be cumbersome and they look odd in all pants lol. Other than that, I find the pros outweigh any negatives I have. Granted, it seems once I went for the bigger mobile devices, I didn't look back.

Full disclosure: I do, however, own and actively use a BlackBerry Classic lolol

Although I prefer Android and love my Note 3 all the problems with bluetooth range and part of screens going dead has soured me on note 5. Maybe Marshmallow will fix it? I'm looking at iPhones again though I will wait for iPhone 7. The iPhone 6s screen just doesn't compare to Note 5. Maybe Note 6. We'll see.

I was kidding you. I have followed your thread about going back and forth and thought you would stay with the Note 5. What prompted you going back?? Did you sell your Note?

I haven't sold it yet. And I had to change carriers because I recently moved and T-Mobile is horrible in the new place. So I went back to AT&T. Was in the store. Looked at every flagship phone. Somehow I walked out with an iPhone 6S Plus. Still can't figure it out really. But it's the one I wanted at the time. Go figure.

So I have already returned the iPad pro and got an Air 2. The Pro is too big. Much more comfortable with the iPad Air 2.

That thing is definitely one gigantic iPad. As much as I love this 6s Plus, I still can't quit looking at Android devices. The 6P is still calling my name...

Sounds like you are going to be pulling the trigger soon. I'm sitting at home now pleasantly surprised that I have an iPhone and iPad again. Didn't see it coming though. But I missed my iPad. The iPhone is what it is, but the iPad has always been my weakness.

There are still so many things keeping me away from Android. I'm absolutely in love with my iPhone. But I can't quit looking at the 6P. Then I see all the issues people have and how little issues I have with my iPhone, then I quit looking.

What is it about the 6P that you really like?

I will admit to that. When I got my iPhone, I set it up and then put it down. There was no playing around with it. But I always played with my Note 5.

Yeah, there's just really no customization at all. I love how smooth the iPhone is and how everything really works well, but I miss being able to make the phone feel like mine. This looks like my daughter's phone with a different wallpaper. But I absolutely trust Apple devices to work as intended more so than any Android device.
