Note 5 vs iPhone 6s

I don't see point of upgrading from 6pllis to 6s plus granted I can sell my plus and grab six s plus BUT I just don't see why bother.
I will keep this and grab a note 5... Or edge plus now that phone has my attention lol

I just picked up the 6s Plus yesterday and so far I am not impressed at all. To me, it is the same phone as last year, with a slightly better camera and a different method to touch the screen. Which, in my opinion, is kind of useless at the moment. Doesn't seem much faster or more intuitive as compared to just opening the app. This is either going up for sale or I'm returning it and going back to a Note 5, edge Plus or Nexus 6P. I've used tons of iOS devices in the past and this seems very much like them all. Solid. But the same ole boring OS. It's nothing new for the most part.

So what drastically updated going from the Note 4 to the Note 5? The SD cards slot? The removable battery? The new S-Pen features? Oh, that's right! They removed some S-Pen features on the Note 5. Improved camera? What is drastically different, functionally, from previous generations besides the new look?

The didn't remove the spen features. They removed some features and added some new ones, just like they do with EVERY new Note they release.

Well can you please show me how I can highlight or circle a phone #, address or any other text from an email, website, app, etc and copy it to add it to my address book, send it in an email, text, etc? This feature is available on the Note 4. I don't mean cropping a snapshot of the screen. The Note 4 would actually copy the characters and its format.

I think my above post was crystal clear.

As I said, they removed some spen features and added other ones, just as they do with EVERY new Note.

Why would they remove features? Why didn't they just add. I'm not sure what S-pen features they added either that the Note 4 doesn't have.

Because with every Note that is released, they remove some spen features and add others. The Note 4 doesn't have the screen off feature, someone made an app, which others BTW, found an app in Samsung Apps, that will do exactly what you were asking about with the Note 4.

They also did the scroll capture, just to name two.

My post had absolutely nothing to do with the Note 4. Only the 6s Plus and the Note 5, which is all I have right now to compare it to. The Note 4, when I had it, was a laggy mess. I'll gladly trade a working phone to lose out on a highlighter with my S Pen.

SMDH

I say go for six s plus I have the six plus works great!
If the note 4 was bad for you I don't recommend it.
I had a note 2 and it was wonderful... Except for GPS.
The six plus for obvious reasons is the best phone I had up
To date.
I'll be upgrading soon.

Re: So there is 0 people here waiting to see what the iPhone 6S Plus will be like before buying Note

I would recommend android always against iOS.

I honestly never cared or used widgets. I really like the clean look of iOS. The notification area on iOS is nice and clean and has lots of useful info. I used android since 2010 and got the iPhone 6s Plus recently. I can't see myself returning to android. I really like how everything works on iOS. Like the Touch ID to sign into my bank and the new 3D Touch. I know some android phones have fingerprint reader but I doubt bank apps support it.
Do you like iTunes? Playstore is so much easier fir me personally.

What about iTunes ? I don't understand. I use the App Store and it is pretty good. I find some of the apps are of higher quality compared to android. Do you mean the music app? I find it pretty good. I don't do local music but t if I did I can just transfer them wirelessly.

As of yesterday I'd say the Nexus 6p is a more worthy rival to the iPhone for discussion now, pending input from users once it arrives

Yep.

Other then stock Android and having marshmallow out of the box what exactly does the nexus 6p have better then the note 5 based on what we know?

Likely will have slightly better battery life, no Samsung ram mismanagement, USB C, a dedicated coprocessor for sensor related tasks, better fingerprint reader, better price.
