I have actually been doing well. I was surprised at myself for cancelling the order for the free tablet. And I have only bought one case for my Note 5. I seem to be content with it. Even when researching the BlackBerry Priv, I found myself unable to even imagine replacing my Note 5. So all good things.

I don't see me replacing my Note 5 soon, though I can see me picking up a device or two to use here and there. Of all the phones I have owned, I am happiest with the Note 5. I like it much more than I did my other Notes when I got them. I'm looking forward to getting Marshmallow for Doze and app permission control. I'm hoping they will build on Doze so that some of that can be set to start manually and the phone doesn't have to be laying down and still.

One of the biggest factors in my hesitancy to switch devices is the screen of three Note 5. I've gotten spoiled by it. The first thing I had noticed in the past when I would switch back to the iPhone was that the screen looked washed out. Lol, it is very unpleasant to my eyes initially. It actually takes me a few days to adjust to that. And it's the first thing I miss when I regretfully discard my Note.

Oh yeah.. My Note 4 screen was nice, but after a few days with my Note 5 and I would pick up my Note 4, the difference was huge.

It get so bright in sunlight. I love that. I can actually see my screen clearly in the sun. I Remer when I had the Galaxy Nexus and I would go out into the sun and I couldn't see the screen at all. Had to find some shade just to use my phone.

That is one thing I like about it too. I have a convertible and screen brightness in the car in the summer has always been an issue in the past for me.

It is some times, I'm in the deep south and sometimes it actually gets too hot for it lol

I went to the AT&T store today and messed around with the BlackBerry Priv for a bit. The salesperson said they were all sold out. I guess I'm safe for now because I didn't like the physical keyboard. Didn't like it at all. So another disaster averted.

Re: Aggravated with iOS /Android back and forth

I'm getting irritated with myself because I keep switching back and forth between the two platforms. I just want to make a decision already and stick with it. Had the iPhone 6S on launch weekend. Nothing wrong with it. Really enjoyed it actually. And it complemented my iPad Air 2 perfectly. But yesterday was day 13 of my 14 day return window and I panicked. Went out and exchanged it for the Note 5. Bought a case, screen protector, and wireless charger. So, I'm all in. Haven't touched my beloved iPad since. Now here is the problem. When I use the note, I don't want to use any complementary devices. After a while, I miss my iPad and I want to switch back, but I need the iPhone to go with it. I have been doing this for years. And it's making me feel quite ridiculous. But I can't choose. And I don't know why.
I use a Note 3 and 2 ipads and a windows tablet too. What's your problem? Why do you feel u must have an iphone to use your ipad? It's silly.

Had we not gotten my mom a phone two months ago, I might have done this for her. I still might do it for Christmas. She likes a physical keyboard, but with the Priv, she isn't stuck with only a physical keyboard.

Yeah I tried the Priv a few months ago. My friends mother works in the testing dept with BBM. Pretty good phone I'm just way past the keyboard. Honestly love my Note too much to leave it. First good Blackberry though in a long time.

I had a T-Mobile Dash years ago that was similar to some of the older blackberry phones in that it had a physical keyboard and not just numbers. It was good then, but once I got used to a virtual keyboard, especially on something the size of a note, I can type up a storm with two thumbs.
