By the way, I was hoping that the physical keyboard was going to be awesome as I used to love the keyboard on my BlackBerry 9930. But, my experience with it didn't meet my expectations. Maybe because I haven't used one in so long.

With pictures I don't have to do anything. T-mobile has advanced messaging so pics come in at full resolution. For videos, I use the Google Photos app to send a link of a full resolution video. And I have convinced others to use it as well considering Google allows unlimited downloads. It's an attractive alternative for them and it helps me.

Yeah the pics I send and receive actually look nice high resolution. It's the videos I send or receive are dredful. Thanks for the tip with the Photos app for videos. I'll try that.

Overall the Priv is great. Albeit, the vibrate option is very weak. I only ever use my devices in vibrate mode. Unless you were holding the device in your hand, you couldn't feel the vibration. A shame really. I'll use my Passport and Note 5, for now.

The keyboard was okay. To me the keyboard on the Passport felt better. But, that could merely to do with the size of the Passport versus the Priv.

I have a feeling they may be making a comeback now that they are shipping with android. I have a feeling that the physical keyboard will appeal to enough people to make them relevant again. No one else is doing that.

Yeah you and I have been back and forth with Androids many times. For the first time in years I haven't thought about going back to the iPhone after switching to Android. I am so happy with the Note 5. Much more productive phone and more enjoyable for sure then my 6S Plus. Only thing is the battery life on the 6S Plus is awesome.

Just having all the freedom with the Note is great. One major annoyance that I always had with the iPhone was icloud. Photos and Videos shouldn't be taking up space on your phone. Optimize storage and still had 5GB used. I want to delete certain pics off my phone but can't. Deletes them all in iCloud. Never liked that setup. Love Google Photos. Delete off phone and still in the Cloud. The way it should be.

There are just too many advantages with my Note to even consider going back to iOS. The Note 5 is just too good.

I agree with you about iCloud. There are things about it that just don't make sense. I do miss the lightning connector, but that's about it. I'm addicted to using the s-pen. I use it more often than not. Battery lifeis easily managed. I have wireless chargers at home and work. And I have a charger in the car. I don't really need all of those chargers, but I know I'm covered in every situation. And honestly, it has been great just using one device. I don't have to worry about syncing anything, transferring anything, keeping up with multiple devices, upgrading other devices. It's just me and my Note 5.

Thought that I was finally settled on my 64gb iPhone 6s+ but now that T-Mobile has the gold note 5 I am very tempted to switch again! I have gone through this before, really liked the note 5 I had before until I dropped it two weeks in (no insurance) and the screen shattered so I added another 6s+ on my plan because I felt crazy adding another phone that was the same as the one I just broke.

I have a MacBook and an iPad Air 2 which could probably quench my iOS thirst.

I don't know what to do ! But the 100 dollars off the note 5 looks really good right now ! Ahhhhh!!

Sounds like you really want it, but common sense is getting in the way.This is a feeling I know all too well. Good luck.

I think that the smartphone addiction resonates with a lot of people. Hearing the testimonies of others makes me feel like it isn't just me. We should probably be doing something about it though lol.
