The 2 phone lifestyle![]()
My wife loves iPads for games and puzzles. I don't like games or puzzles. I seldom use either of our iPads. If I do it is just for browsing or email. Have you ever tried Puffin browser to get flashplayer on iPad or iPhone? I wonder if it works smoothly? I need flash player access for work believe it or not.A tablet would just be redundant for me. No need for one.

I would have to agree that a phablet can't replace a tablet.
I now have a phone-case-collecting addiction that needs taming.
Ugh that is the worst. I need group for this or something. It's all Amazon's fault. Spigen's and Incipios for under $15 is like free-basing.
For me it can. When I started using the Note 5, I had no more use for my iPad Air 2. But, I do understand that this may not be the case for everyone. One of the reasons I wanted the Note 5 was because I wanted to condense my tech. So far, I have been successful at doing that.

I guess it's what you get used to. I kind of forced myself to use iOS for the sake of my wife and getting away from android. I have learned to tolerate it and like it to a point but there are days I miss customizing and tweaking my phone. One thing that annoys me, and maybe it's because I don't know quite how to use iOS, is not being able to organize my apps alphabetically. Or at least to the point of actually being able to see what apps I have installed. I miss an app drawer. Moving around icons on the home screens on iOS is really cumbersome. I usually leave the apps, for the most part, where they are originally placed at the time of installing them. It makes finding and seeing what apps I have difficult. I know there's the whole search feature by swiping down as well as swiping all the way to the left most screen. I find that I really don't like using search. Also I rarely use Siri for anything. Mainly for playing around. I definitely don't rely on it for daily use and help.
I now have my case addiction under control. I was up to 33 cases, but sold a bunch of them and now I'm around 21 cases. I'm done.

Why not use folders to organize them?Bugs me too. As an experiment, I did the Setting / General / Reset / Reset Home Screen Layout thing which put the iOS apps in default locations and third-party apps alphabetically. It seemed silly at first, but now I'm kinda liking it. Still not as convenient as having both contextual Home Screens and an alphabetical App Drawer, but it's a start. I normally Search for apps to open, but I don't think it works to find apps for deleting - so I'm trying this out.
As to switching back and forth, yup, me too. I'll spend weeks on iOS and swear I'll never change... then get bored and go back to my Moto X for weeks at a time. Repeat.
iOS has been "sticking" more and more for me though. You'd think there'd be more to play with in Android with all it's customizations, but I'm finding myself even more fascinated lately trying to figure out how to best use iOS and OSX. I actually think iOS is *more* complex than Android - once you dig past the obvious things. Throw in iPad and MacBook integration, add a sprinkling of xCode, and it's an interesting "world" to explore![]()
What do you think about the photo quality of both?
In my experience with iOS users, it is this very phenomenon that makes iMessage so popular for them. Once they install another cross-platform app on their phone, the icon is on the last page of the home screen and promptly forgotten. To compound things, if they don't go into settings and promptly set up notifications upon install, the app might as well not exist because they will never see anything from the app to remind them. I do think some apps ask you if you want to set up notifications on install but a lot do not, seems like it should be an OS thing anyway.
We do need a support group.
