Note 5 vs. S6 active?

I'm thinking of buying either in order to get more battery life and usage than I do out of my S6. The Active's battery life is a major draw. But for about $150 more, the Note 5 gives me a bigger screen and stylus functionality; however, I've read mixed things about its battery life. Anyone have experience using both? Any advice?

I get thru a day of usage on the active with a about 75% battery left at the end of the day. I probably only average about 2-3 hrs sot per day. Phone goes in and out of service at times also, I'm in a fringe area for service at times.

GSM Arena tested both devices and got 20% more battery life from the Active.

I've only had the S6a for a week now but I got to say if having a phone with great battery life is a must you can't go wrong... I'm coming from a LG3 and so I do miss the larger screen.. That would be the plus of the notes side.

All the reading I've done, rf performance is not as good on the note 5. Rubber and plastic phones will do better than metal and glass.

I had a Note 3, but it was too large for easy one handed operations. The stylus is very useful and so is the note app.
However, the S6 fits better in the hand and you don't have worry about water.
I typically use the S6 all day -8am to 11pm without problem -sometimes very heavy use. Used lightly it will go about 24 hours, used heavily 14-16 is my norm. (Also has the quick charge -and even regular charge wireless Q at my desk during the day, makes you forget about any concerns about battery. ... )
problem is that ATT is very slow to update this phone. It always has the oldest software and new innovations don't get to it -forever ;-(
