Note 7 Always on display notification icons, circles sometimes, sometimes not ?

Why do my AOD notification icons sometimes have a circle around them and sometimes they don't ?

Anyone else notice this?

I can't screen shot it but I can take a picture. The little circle frame round the notifications is what I'm talking about. Sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not. Just something I was wondering about.

Anyone else's Note 7 do this?

i never noticed it before but your right. It doesnt bother me as much but i guess im slightly curious as to what the reasoning is.

I'm going to have to keep looking at mine to see if it does it. Haven't noticed it yet. I'm still on my old note 7 also til i can replace it Tuesday.

You've lost your mind lol just playing. Mine still showing the circles. But I'll check again when I get my replacement Tuesday.

I'm not sure this is right but I think if you only have one icon it does not have a circle. If you have more than one they are circled.

No I have one notification on my screen now and it's still circled.

Mine are circled also, but I do think I have seen them without the circles. Now I'm curious also.
