If you didn't pay for the whole phone and are in a 2 year contract, does the recall render the contract void? I hope they only don't just refund the initial 500 dollars or whatever and force the users to still make monthly payments on a recalled phone!

I heard of one person on verizon from reddit that had their new contract voided when they returned the note7

It sounds like contracts from all carriers being voided.

Yes they are voiding it. But if you go to a different device it will be your upgrade
