It wouldn't surprise me to actually see SOME news outlets delete a few frames that might show a logo or descriptor that shows it's NOT a Note 7, then call it a Note 7 just to keep the story going! Anything for the STORY!

You're right. The articles below if anyone wants to read it, then I'm forgetting about it all. I've stopped my alerts & I'm going to enjoying the new one when it comes, hopefully TOMORROW! So no more bad news reporting from your roaving 7 reporter!!

I also read that they China models are under recall now. Not sure how factual.

They figured out heat is from outside sources, not the battery thank goodness.

from what i gather it is one of the os updates that you are prompted to install. so out of the box it will still be white.

AT&T in MA got theirs this morning - picked mine up at around 12:30 PM - just finishing SmartSwitch Restore now. Will report back later this afternoon. Have pictures, etc. Interesting note - Made in Korea, not China on my box but has the black square everyone speaks of. More to come! ??? :-|

...now after reading your "Before Coffee" post, then your "After Coffee" post, I really expected what you were going to say was for folks to paste an iPhone 7 logo in the "Always On Display" for getting on to planes - just hold the phone up with the logo and voila', you're an iPhone 7 for that short, "necessary" moment in time. Damned, I really thought you were on to something there!

I already knew about the ability to do that - I've got a caricature of my Ford F350 for mine.

YEAAAAAAA! Congratulations . Great news! Can't wait to hear if u find anything new. In my dreams I was hoping it would come back with a screen protector. But coming back at all is all i really care about. Have fun. Send pics!

I'm expecting my replacement tomorrow after they get to my Verizon store or wed morning.I'm still using mine hoping it doesn't let me down and blow up the day before the exchange . I pre ordered it the 1st day. Would really like to start enjoying it without worrying about it..

Yes I did! After talking to multiple AT&T stores, I luckily found one that had a coral blue in stock for me. I also had it from a pre-order originally, it's been a heck of a month.

O.K. Kids... AT&T, Black, today... Manufacture Date: 09/13/16 Manufactured: Korea Only Identifier I could find on the cheap, blue and white AT&T Box was the Black Square on the label - (you'll see it in the picture) - They did a DOA Return, gave me the new phone, $0.00 charges, they even managed to include the new BodyGuardz Contour HD Screen Protector on their warranty for free. Only issue is, he said Samsung will issue the $25 credit to my AT&T Account after the fact... will have to wait and see on that one?

Did you exchange your original note 7 for the new one? No charge then makes sense, but if you returned a loaner for it and no charge that would be awesome
