note 7 silver

It's all personal preference, but I think the silver looks way too shiny and flashy. It's almost like a mirror.

That's part of why I like it!

A lot of people will love the color for that reason, and a lot of people will hate the color for that same reason. That's exactly why I hate reading posts about which one is better. Neither is better than the other, some people just like different things.

I totally agree. I don't think this is a color bashing thread though, thankfully.

Mentioning troop movements... makes me think a chrome phone wouldn't be good for you... last thing you need is a phone that's gonna reflect light and shine and give away your position lol.

Yes but can I apply my lipstick and fix my hair with it? ;)

Silver brings back memories of my last silver phone... Nextel Motorola i830... IMO one of my best looking phone ever had.
I was thinking Coral Blue but now I'm leaning towards Silver. Black is sleep but seeing it at BB... makes the phone look plastic.

Good point on the plastic - I hadn't put it into words, but that assessment is spot-on for me. That's in addition to the fact that I think Black is the most boring color of the batch for me - I just couldn't buy yet another one.

I am looking forward to getting Silver and I agree that it's a totally personal decision - there's no one "best".

I preordered silver but canceled and changed to black because after seeing all the videos the fingerprints were literally the worst I've seen on any phone ever

Not gonna use a case? If I get a Note 7 it would be a shame to cover it up... but a $800 phone... I'd be concerned of an accidental drop ruining it.

I dropped my S7E in horrifying fashion within the first 4 hours of it being unboxed. I immediately disconnected it, put my Nexus back on my line and the next day went and got a case for it.

I was a fool to think I could live without protection. //sniffle

I think we watched the same review. I regret not getting black. Had no idea the silver was THAT shiny. Will probably exchange for the black within the week.

The silver isn't mirror shiny and I've used my S7Edge silver outside, in the sun, taking pictures, and never had an issue with it reflecting in my eyes. It's shiny, yes, but not in the way that you think.

It is mirror shiny. I was able to check every detail of my face in that sucker yesterday!

After looking at many videos of the 3 colors, I decide to go to Best Buy and see them in person.

In person, I thought the black looked less impressive, more ordinary and like plastic. The color of the blue seemed too pastel, too bright.

The silver looked even better in person, by far the most unique and Elegant. Shiny, but not a mirror effect. Sleek and cool.
Although, it seemed to show the most fingerprints. This will probably be reduced by screen protectors.

That's what I thought when I saw the black... Plastic

Silver is sharp; looks so classy. No color is bad, but Silver is the one I gravitated to when I saw them in person. I've always rocked white, so this is the natural choice for me as well.

I was worried, in the sun, when trying to take a photo, it might shine in my eyes.

That will only happen if the sun is directly behind you as you take the photo. Even then, the angle would have to be perfect and that would be difficult to achieve.
