I chatted with a rep today and he gave me some advice to switch to the lgv20 but It seems a little suspect....Has anyone done something like this before?

Not on ATT so not sure but maybe you could get him to notate your account that this is what you want to do?

Another reason I don't like this is I would have to pay the tax on the v20 when in reality they owe me money back cause this phone is cheaper then the note 7.....Im tempted to just wait til release cause this seems like too many moving parts.

I've never heard of that, being with ATT. I did the double switch by exchanging my Note 7 for an LG K10 (which has about a 700 dollar price difference). Got the tax difference refunded, and now have a 93 dollar credit on my account. In turn I paid off the K10 and preordered the V20 with the upgrade being available again. On top of that I was told I can trade in the K10 for $200 worth of accessories once I have the V20. Confusing? Yeah but it works for me.

Is the k10 a go phone? It says no go phones are allowed in the small details

no it's listed with the other phones as $5.00 per month on Next. Unless something has changed since Sunday, that is.

I think I'm just gonna turn my phone in after the release and pay extra for next day shipping if they don't have it in store......

I was just in the att store an hour ago. They told me keep the n7 till the v20 comes out then bring it in and they will do the swap

I have a temp phone now after returning my note 7 the Amazon r1 HD blu phone with 2 GB RAM and I swear this phone is moving faster than my replacement note 7 weird ....will be preordering lg v20 from T-Mobile next week

I'm not surprised at all. The Note 7 feels bloated especially after using the Axon 7 and the LG V20!!

Not sure what happened to.my account but my next bill shot up to $800 when it's normally under $300.

Wife returned her note 7 for and s7 edge at best buy, I was going to buy a cheap go phone, turn in my N7 and pre order the V20. During the 3 hours at best buy with wife's Exchange the employee must have made my phone upgrade eligible. I noticed it when I was bored and on ATT website so I just pre orders the V20 and kept note 7. At time of pre order site said I don't owe anything but $20 for activation. Next day I look at my account t and see this.

Now I have to go to AT&T. This note 7 disaster is non stop. Can't wait to get settled in with a permanent phone.

This is exactly what I want to avoid......They know this whole thing is a mess but still sometimes they choose to give u a hard time....

So I just got back from BB again. Inquires about my $800 phone bill. They said we didnt send back wife's note 5 trade in. Was ATTs fault and a 270$ charge, got that one cleared up rapidly by calling AT&T . The other 242$ charge was a "damaged device charge" charged by Best Buy and they don't understand the charge because it was for the original recalled Note 7 we exchanged for "safe not 7", original note 7 was returned in good condition, but condition didn't matter, it could have been melted down from a fire and they still had to accept it due to the recall. BB has to go to the higher ups, figure it out and call us back so can try to clear the charge.

I am returning my wife's s7 to best buy, she now wants the V20 (which I tried to talk her into days ago before she exchanged her second note 7. I am going to strangle her and Best buy before all is said and done. Wife forgot her s7 box so we couldn't give back her s7 and walk to AT&T to order her v20. I ordered mine a few nights ago.

One big positive is all phones are going back to Best Buy and I am walking out emptied handed. All phones in the future will be purchased from AT&T.

I did look at the V20 again at AT&T and oh man it had some deep gouges on the screen. I looked like someone gave it a serious scratch test, only possible way it could be scratched that bad and deep. I am happy with my permanent V20 choice and can't wait until it arrives and this drama is all over with.

I love my v10 so I'm looking forward to this phone. Ordered a case and some cheap screen protectors to protect it until I find what I really want.
