Note 8 Cellular data issues...or...?

I am on my 2nd Note 8 in as many weeks. Fabulous phone. Best I have used thus far!

In between phones I used a replacement S8+ with none of the following issues, so I wonder if this is a software or inherent hardware problem with the N8.

My first N8 was superfast on wifi. But on Cellular data, I kept getting "unable to load page. **** timeout. Retry." Switching back to wifi, and it was very fast again with almost no lag or buffering.

Asked for a replacement phone that took a week to get to me.
The 2nd phone displays none of the unable to load page malarky, but it is properly slow in opening webpages. Attachments in Emails, and WhatsApp take forever to load.
If I connect WhatsApp to the Mac via the WhatsApp Web app, forget about opening an image or video, it will take 5 or more minutes.

Now I checked this scenario with my iPhone 7+ and Porsche Design HM9, but both those are blazing fast on cellular (4G) and wifi.

Why would this be please?
I have reset the network, removed and cleaned the sim cards, etc....

When you compare with the other phones, are you swapping that same SIM card to those phones? Or are they separate lines on your same account? Which carrier do you have?

Are you using a case? If so, is it still slow with the case off?

I was thinking about the same thing - can possibly be sim card related - carrier network related even. But then again, if the S8+ isn't having the issues. Is your Note 8 unlocked?Perhaps the APNsettings need adjusted. Have you tried "RESETTING" the network settings? Also, try wiping the cache in recovery mode? Those are two short-term easy options ot at least try if you haven't already.

Mine seems fine. I had an issue a few years back with a Note 3 (back when it was new lol) - and it wasn't letting messages go through and had some network issues. That one ? Defective Sd memory card - removed the card it was fine. I have had intermitten issues the past few years just a few times with network issues like you've mentioned, and they ended up being sim card related.

Hi
Thank you for your replies. Yes it is unlocked, as are all the others too.
I am using 2 sims in it. The same 2 sims I have tried on the afore mentioned phones.
Have reset the network settings, factory reset both phones, but no difference.
Really scratching my head here

No case on the phone? Some case makes don't know what they're doing and add a lot of metal (e.g., "blingy" sparkles), which can interfere with reception.
