note 8 lock screen will not turn off on its own

What the hell is this? I put the phone on the wireless charging pad, the lock scream comes on and stays on all effing night.

Time out is set to 5 minutes.

Does anyone else have to press the power button to turn off the lock screen?

Settings, developer options (stay awake while charging) set to off.

Thanks bro but those settings have always been and currently are off.

The only thing I can think of is making sure that, if you use power savings, the power savings could be disabling those.

Don't know if you found the solution yet, but here is what worked for me.
Settings > Lock Screen and Security > Always On Display (is likely toggled on).
