Hello!
Just wondering if wifi calling on non-Designed for Fi phones will work. I've heard that it doesn't, which isn't good. I live in a forested area with low coverage, so wifi calling is really important. I'm thinking of switching to Google Fi for the cost, but I'd have to pay $400 off on Google Fi and then have to buy a Designed for Fi phone, which unfortunately doesn't include the new Galaxy S10's or anything.

Thanks! I use Messages as my default Messaging app already, so texting looks like it's not an issue. Calling may be an issue, so not sure yet. Worst case scenario I get the pixel 3 XL, not wanting to do that though
