*Note 8 to have SnapDragon 835 or tweaked out 836?

I doubt it... the article said that it would also have the front FPS so that's pretty much not happening. If they did come out with the 836, I believe they would have to get the phone recertified so again, it's not happening.

There is a rumored 836 chip... but the rumor is that the new Google Pixel will be rocking that.

Thanks for the replies..... Just curious........ I also read it won't have the ability to use the newly acquired T-Mobile 600mhz band.. Is there any further information on this? Could a future Software update add 600mhz capability or is it strictly hardware?

WoW........ That makes no sense at all.. N8 obsolete already as for having 600mhz capability.... T-Mobile knew they acquired 600mhz.... They knew what the $1,000 N8 needed to receive it... The hardware is available.... They could have added it... I Guess we will have to wait until the N9 arrives for 600mhz support... While other cheaper phones from other manufactures cash in on having 600mhz capability.. That's just not right.. Cheaper phones getting access to better reception. Not coool Samsung.... Not cool at all.....

Note 8 WILL support the 600mhz band, Qualcomm said so. I think it just needs a software update.

I believe the new Pixel will be first with the SD 836. Just like they were first with SD 821.
