Note 8 trade in offer status for Samsung.com orders

so has no one received confirmation of the credited trade in value? I wonder if they will just let the charge go through at the reduced price and never really send out any type of confirmation.

The way i understand their wording, everyone got the max value discount at first and if for whatever reason your device doesn't qualify for the max value, they will charge you thr additional amount. So i would say that indeed if you didnt get any additional charges, then you got the full amount.

What KupKrazy said. I think the 425 is a given as long as your phone meets their criteria. No cracks, holds a charge, isn't locked, etc...
Received my Note on Tuesday and shipped my iPhone 6s today.

Are you sure that means that they've accepted your phone and are giving you that value? The use of the word "max" gives me doubts. To me that means that we've received your phone and the max we're going to give you is $425.

My trade-in is showing the same thing. iPhone SE

It was previously at $0 before they received it.

Just sent back my Note 5 and followed direction & documented all that was required.
Two questions:
1: Are notified that you received the full credit and when?
2: All subjective, but if you followed instructions for full credit-anyone have issues getting full credit and what the amount and reason was?

If I don't get the full trade in for my Note 5 I will just blacklist the phone. I'm not gonna lose all that money and let them resell it and use it.

My Note 5 was in perfect condition. We will see what happens I guess.

I got mine from Samsung. Unlocked version. I sent mine back in the original Note 5 box. Then I packed that box in the box my note 8 and charger and sd card came in. Samsung doesn't send you anything to return the old device in.

Exactly what i did in regards to returning. Put it back in my Note 5 box, and shipped it back using the same box and packing materials they sent the Note 8 in. Took pictures and videos of the Note 5 before packing it up.

It will say "product verified" when your phone is all done being examined.

The only way possible is to check your statement and make sure you are not fully charged.

Just checked, mine is saying Product Received as of yesterday afternoon. Also, the trade in value changed from zero to $425. I traded an iPhone 5.
