Note 8 trade in offer status for Samsung.com orders

Mine said that too after they got it but we are not sure if that is what we got or it just states the max value we COULD get.

I received my first bill and it's reflects the $425 discount, if you used samsung finance check your bill.

me too, although I think the reserve the right to charge you up to $400 in the future so even the bill may not be proof of acceptance and max trade value.

Ordered Unlocked Note 8 through Sansung on August 24, 2017 ORDER TOTAL $518.99 -Received Note 8 on 9-7, sent iphone 5 on 9-13, Samsung received it on 9-19
Still on "Delivered" Status

Ordered Verizon Note 8 through Best Buy on August 26, 2017
Received Note 8 on 9-8, sent S7E on 9-13, "trade in received" email from Verizon on 9-20
On "Received Status" until today. I received below info in an email this morning. Now grant it we did turn in a used S7E with a charging port issue, but we did get the full 480 trade in value spread out over 24 months.

Both items were shipped and received around the same time. Verizon wins... unless I get the full 425 trade in value for the old (but in excellent shape) iphone 5 soon. Time will tell. This will definitely weigh in on how I do trade in's next go around.

Hey, getting ready to send my s6 in. just wanted to make sure. All I need to do is a factory reset before sending it in, right?

Your trade-in device must be in a good condition. Samsung will determine, in its sole judgement, whether your Qualifying Trade-In Device is in good condition. A Qualifying Trade-In Device is in “good condition” if it:
· Powers on and holds a charge;
· Has a functioning display;
· Has no breaks or cracks or other visible defects that go beyond normal wear and tear; AND
· Is not on a black list of any kind;
In addition to being in “good condition”, your qualifying Trade-In Device must satisfy the following additional requirements:
· Has Reactivation Lock, Google Factory Reset Protection, or any other anti-theft locking software disabled; AND
· You must have performed a factory reset and removed all personal information from the device

A factory reset should get rid of all locks and personal information right? That's all I need to do?

How are you guys tracking your trade in? I sent mine in yesterday but it only says send trade in by Oct. 2nd under my orders and has the print label tab.

The tracking number is on the label. You can track the shipment on the shipper's website.

Has anyone got an update on their trade-in? I'm still waiting to see if they approve my phone that I traded in. Sent it about 2 weeks ago.
