I got up this a.m. and my phone started downloading an update (I'm on TMobile). I can't find where to look what the update is for. Anyone else getting one? I like to at least see what it is for before downloading. I have it paused.

Found this arrival on Android Pit

The 571MB update*package does not indicate*a version upgrade to Android Oreo. This update addresses*improvements in overall performance, wireless charging and camera stability. It also doesn't include the September security patches, which are likely to arrive soon.

Here are the details. I updated.

I got it not long ago also. One thing. I noticed it fixed. You voice mail issue. Before they did. Not come. To my notifications now they did after the update

I had a Verizon update yesterday, and when the phone restarted, there was a link that said "Learn more". So I clicked on it, and got a Verizon page that said, "Oops! That page doesn't exist."

So I did learn more, but it wasn't what Verizon had in mind, I'm sure.

Got mine on sprint this morning

Its amazing with android that the phones release date is today and there already updating except for security that should be the most important

It is actually very common for updates to happen to a brand new phone as they get some final tweaks in that they couldn't before production.

So I got Verizon's update and just installed it but my Android Security Patch Level is still dated August 1, 2017. Wasn't this update I just downloaded partially a security update as well? Should I have gotten the September security update yet?
