Note and BT intermittent connection

Anyone have solution to a pairing issue with the Note? I could not get it to be discovered until the fifth attempt, and then it drops and reconnects every 30 seconds or so. I tried deleting the connection and creating a new one hoping that the funkiness was a result of the stumbling first attempt but the new pairing which went through cleanly has the exact problem. Brand new Acura BT, brand new Note.
