Note7 owners - games installed yesterday after reboot - Verizon/DTignite or malware?

Was happy to get a new Note7 on release day and disabling a lot of the unnecessary VZ and Samsung apps was easy enough, but after a random reboot today (the phone was just sitting on the table), new games were installed:
Empire, Mobile Strike, Panda Pop, and Cookie Jam

Also an "AppLock Pro" was installed (at least I don't remember seeing it earlier).

Just to be safe, I figured I'd do a factory reset since it was pretty new and now I see the same games installed! I also see the Alto app which I don't remember previously.

The infamous DTignite is present as an application - is this the cause of it all? If so, I'll have to clean up and disable it.

Any other Note7 owners getting new Bloatware installed?

Just to be clear I'm asking because I heard the S7 owners had the same games installed. Just want to be sure it's a carrier deal not malware of some kind.

I believe it is Samsung. Those games are part of their freebies for purchasing the phone I am thinking. I got them also. I simply uninstalled them and they haven't come back even after several power-downs and reboots.

Thanks! Glad to hear it was a Samsung or Verizon move vs. actual malware.

I wanted to disable DT ignite, but when I choose that it just asks if I want to install the default version. After doing that, I was told it could be disabled. Does that sound right?

Otherwise I can only force close it.

I just took it down to the default version and was finally able to disable it.

It is installed by dt ignite. Delete the apps and disable dti and you'll be fine.

Right, I disabled it when I got the phone... Just responding to the other user who asked what it was

I did not see DT ignite when disabling apps on my Note 7. I better look a little harder.

Is it safe on the Verizon Note 7 to disable DT ignite?
