Note8 super slow motion only captures 8 seconds

i have searched but not able to find anything that allows the Note8 to capture long than 8 seconds using super slow motion. it's odd that they would introduce this feature with this limit - a basically useless.

anyone has better luck than myself?

I dont even have that option on mine yet.

If it's the same as Sonys super slow mo sensor it's a hardware limitation based on RAM within the sensor stack.

there was a youtube video for S9 super slow motion, it appears once you selected super slow motion, S9 has an option for manual or auto

whereas for note8, it only allows the recording to be 8 seconds long. that is such a waste of time to introduce a nice feature with this limitation

It's still limited to a few seconds at a time.

true, but we still lack the option for multiple takes or a single take. with note8, we ONLY have the single take which means each video is only 8 seconds long.

i am sure there are situation where i would like to a one minute long video with several8 seconds burst of super slow motion in between,
