Notification Bar and Soft Key Buttons Disappeared! Please help!!

Re: Notification Bar and Soft Key Buttons Disappeared! Please hel

Okay I just flashed AOKP and it went fine but now I keep getting the message: unfortunately, process android.process.acore has stopped. Any ideas?

Sounds like you didn't wipe. Try a reboot. Probably wont help but you must wipe data/factory reset and dalvik cache before flashing a rom.
Also check your md5 on the file. Most roms have an md5 number associated with a rom file. Its a long string of numbers that must match to insure your download did not get corrupted in transfer. Check it with a file explorer like astro or root explorer by clicking on the file then going to properties.

I hope you downloaded the right file. It has to be for toro....not maguro or toroplus.

Okay I just flashed AOKP and it went fine but now I keep getting the message: unfortunately, process android.process.acore has stopped after restoring several things in Titanium backup. Any ideas?

What are you restoring with TiBu? Make sure its only USER apps and their data, and try to limit it to only the ones you really need data with. You can restore the rest of the apps without data. Under no circumstance should you try to restore system data with TiBu, that will lead to nothing but errors and FC's like you're getting. At this point I would do another full wipe and flash ROM and gapps again (lol I know i know, but we're almost there).... was data working this time at least once booting up?

Also are you on the 4.0.4 radios yet? Check your about phone and let me know the baseband version. Its a good idea to update your radios to 4.0.4 if you are going to be on a 4.0.4 system... not necessary, but a good idea.

EDIT: To update the radios, grab the very first link to the New 4.0.4 radios from Zero Neck's thread. Flash that zip in recovery, no need to wipe anything, it will handle all the work. The LTE radio takes a few seconds but the CDMA one will take up to a minute or so to complete, don't panic as its going, lol, just let it do its thing :)

Yeah I figured that out by myself :) everythings set up and good to go now! Thanks everyone for everything. I'm gonna try and update the radios when I have more time. What will happen when they are updated?

Great! Glad you got it setup :)

When you update the radios you should see these values under baseband (ignore the colors and stuff that are a product of the rom I'm on, lol):

Very easy.. Like I said just grab the first link from Zero Necks RADIOS thread, flash in CWM recovery. No need to wipe anything. Give it a minute or 2 to do its thing, then like 2 minutes to settle after you reboot.
