Notification Bar does not open on swipe-down anymore, so Tools not available.

Something happened to my new S7, I suspect caused by the super-sensitive touchscreen executing some random function. This screen keeps picking up random 'touches', and the keyboard is driving me crazy.

In particular my home screen icons changed and I think some disappeared, but the biggest problem is the that the Tools swipe-down has disappeared, and the Notification Bar does not open on swipe-down anymore. So I have no access to "Tools".

Is there any way to revert to the original screen layouts. Also is there a way to auto-sort the app icons by name instead of by Install Order?

Press and hold on a page and see if you can reset the default theme under Themes.
For Apps icon, click A-Z and Save

Also go to Default Applications and select TouchWiz as Home

Great thanks.
Actually my
Settings> Applications> Default Applications> Home screen
already had TouchWiz Home set, so I Changed it toTouchWiz easy Home, then back to TouchWiz Home.
That restored the app icons like they used to be, thanks, in random order spread over 5 pages.

The Notification Bar pull-down and the tools widget in it, are still missing though.

Try Settings>Quick Settings>More>Edit Quick settings and enable a few. Disable enable and see if the notification bar comes back.

Doh... I was just exploring through the phone options and suddenly the notification bar was back!! Not sure, but I think it was after downloading and selecting a new theme, but since then I've gone back to the Default theme and the noti bar is still there. Thanks for all your help.
