Notification Cards Do Not Move Up?

I have Nexus 7 2013 wifi running lollipop 5.02.

After dismissing a notification card at the top, the ones below it did not move up. See my image.

Cards should move up when dismissing others rite? There should not be a blank space where old ones were rite?

Done that many times since updating. Makes no difference.

Weird. Try going to Settings>Apps>All, select Google, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Now open Google Search or Google Now again, and then wait for notifications to arrive.

Another thing to consider is to Clear Cache & Data from the Launcher (although this will wipe the homescreens, and you'll have to set them up again).
