It is system dark mode in Q , I like Samsung dark mode also ,as I'm using it on my S10+ ,note 9, and s9+.

At least you got the best from all worlds and can have an objective opinion lol

I heard the pixel 3xl was great but if you don’t need that extra power just go for the 3a xl and so far I’m surprised, I expected it to be slow.

Yeah mixed phone including 1+6 didn't mention . I do have best of both worlds and try to give my best feedback on them to everyone . The 3A xl is definitely a great phone at it's price point .

Ya it’s a great price, can’t really go wrong with it! It really hurt giving up the a50 tho because the display screen is mind blowing, pixel 3a xl has nothing on that screen.

True , I do like A50 also but if you see the 3xl screen made by Samsung it's really good . But still the 3a xl I think is very good phone and I don't mind plastic phones either.

If you don’t mind me asking, on the a50 it had a close all tabs button as soon as you swiped up but the pixel you have to scroll all the way to the left and hit close all tabs. In Q on pixel did they change that and make it like the a50?

Sure no problem, yeah same way in Q scroll all the way to left to close or just swipe up individual.

20% is pushing the lifespan - I don't let my battery go lower than 40% (and that 20% difference makes a lot of difference in the lifetime of the battery). Right now I'm recharging at 45%. It didn't used to matter so much - I had 2 batteries and could switch them, but with sealed phones, and uBreakiFix being a 2 hour drive each way (and being 77, I'm not about to trust my hands to do it any more), I try to make the battery last as long as possible.

On the positive side, 100% isn't bad, because it's really only about 98% unless you leave the charger plugged in for about 30 minutes after it reaches "100%", but if the charging chip (or, in my case, Magisk Charging Switch) ever goes bad, you can cook the battery to death. So 95% doesn't decrease use much, but prevents catastrophes.

I always consider the last word to be Cadex - they've probably destructively tested more batteries so far this year than I've seen in my entire life. And their graphs at Battery University - How to Prolong Lithium-based Batteries say about the same thing.

It’s a good thing to know as i’d Like to keep the battery going for 2-3 yrs and not have to switch it out.

Ahh shame it wasn’t changed, I just hope they fix the eBay issues with notification sounds not working properly or what I’m dealing with now is the eBay app not even sending me any notifications. Very disappointed with that since the app worked perfect on iPhone.

Ya I did that, it’s currently “not optimized” and my phone’s not running on battery saver mode. Funny part is that it was working all day correctly but tonight it’s not sending me anything to my phone.

Ya been having non stop issues since I moved to android last week with the eBay app and I haven’t found any solution online. That’s my only regret leave iPhone right now lol

Yeah , I think some of these issues are with pie and how it trying to save battery but stuff like notifications get caught in this as it's either delayed or not working at all

Ya that’s a pain, hopefully Q fixes the eBay app issues! I can live with the rest of the issues lol
