i also feel like the battery life on the iphone 6 was much better than this phone even after 5 years lol I only use my phone for texting and apple music and ebay when i get sales but the battery goes down to 40% every day.

Give it little time to learn your usage, but my experience with iPhone 6 battery was horrible, not the plus model though.

the battery life will change as you use the phone?? I turned off adaptive mode and battery saver, don't know if that will hurt it.

Ya i've been lucky, i charged my iphone 6 to 100% every night but never dropped it below 40% and it was good to me.


Any chance you noticed if on android devices apple music drains it battery life more than spotify? Cause on my iphone apple music hardly touched the battery life but now it's killing the battery.

Definitely turn adaptive mode back on.... it should help a ton with battery life over time. I've left mine on from day one and my battery life got substantially better over time. I also charge my phone to 100% every night and never go below 50-60%, I've never had a phone battery quit on me yet, and I usually use a phone for 3-4 years. One thing I don't do though is leave my phone plugged in all night.

As far as Apple music working better on an iPhone vs an Android doesn't surprise me at all, it's pretty well known that these companies want their stuff to work best on their own phones, that's just smart business :O ;-)

Keep adaptive on it will help with battery life. I dont use either music service so cant say.

Ok i'll turn it back on, i had it off because i use the ebay app and they suggest i turn it off. The ebay app has lots of issues with it's notifications not popping up unless i turn on my screen.

You can turn optimize battery for individual apps if some give issues
