Notification tone once per minute, S10+ with V12C/ FitVII smart watch.

Samsung S10+ - after installing V12C/ FitVII smart watch with MorePro app, notification alert sound alarm sounds once per minute.

Turning off bluetooth silences the alarm, but then I am without bluetooth.

turning off the notification sound in settings silences the alarm but it also silences the notificatins for everything. . No NFC around, Cards are in security pouches,

turned off smart watch & uninstalled Morepro app with no effect.
checked other apps, turned them off with no effect.
Need advice on how to silence this per minute nuisance
 
Try going into settings >notification>see what's the latest was pushed it has a time stamp at bottom

installed Samsung NICE CATCH - changed sound to vibration in settings - Reports every 56 seconds as Settings, However when changed to sound rather than vibration - it is not detected

Need advice on how to silence this per minute nuisance

since this stops when bluetooth is turned off, wonder if there is a something there to blame

It's obviously coming from the new smartwatch.

Try looking through its and the companion apps settings... If you can't find anything go to app info for the companion app and look at its notification channels. If nothing is immediately obvious you'll have to trial and error it by turning each one off one by one and seeing which one fixes the issue.
 
watch is turned off and back in the box to be sent back. the app has been uninstalled. phone has been restarted several times.


even with the notifications DO NOT DISTURB turned on, the alarm continues.
 
in settings, ring tone select for notifications I changed the tone to silent -- this alarm is then silent but now there is no alert for any notifications.
 
That is strange... What other Bluetooth devices do you have and have you tried restarting therm?

Have you deleted the watch from your Bluetooth menu?

You might want to try reconnecting the watch and looking through its settings to see if there's a way to properly impair it if nothing else works...
 
Did you already try Nice Catch as I previously suggested?

Also, go to Settings>Accessibility and see if Notification Reminders is turned on.
 
nice catch shows the alarm is SETTINGS if vibrate is turned on. but is not seen under sound
Also tried RESET NETWORK SETTINGS with no success
 
Did you wipe the phones cache partition during one of the restarts? If not, try it out.

found problem - Panasonic home phone system with bluetooth detect needed reset thru panasonic phone base, MorePro app somehow interfered with connection

Bluetooth is a very finicky and unreliable technology.

Glad you got it fixed. I imagine it was incredibly frustrating.
