Notifications disappeared

I cleaned up some apps on my S7 Edge this morning and seem to have lost the ability to see the little numbers next to my apps, (Facebook/Gmail/SMS).

What do you all use to see/hear your notifications?

I found it. I'm using Nova Launcher and I had deleted TeslaUnread.
