Notifications not working

Hello,
For some weird reason 90 percent of my notifications don't work, the weird thing is messenger playstore updates and sms notification do work but that's it the rest like Gmail snapchat Outlook Instagram and Facebook don't work. I tried everything I looked up online followed every instructions, I whent trough app settings and notification settings 1 by 1 still not working.
I do have a samsung galaxy s7 edge but I don't like the launcher so I installed the Google pixel launcher, I also disabled that for a bit to see if that was the problem but I still didn't get any notifications. Would be awesome if someone could help me solve this problem.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you see a notification icon in the status bar, but just don't hear any tone? Or do those apps not even give you the notification icon?

Hey diddy those apps don't even give any kind of notification what's very weird wile sms and messenger do

Do you have any power-saving modes or 3rd party battery-saver or "phone cleaner" apps installed? Also, in the system settings, make sure those apps aren't set to Restrict Background Data.

I don't have any this party battery saver installed or anything I also looked at the restrict background data but it was fine idk what it is

You can try in phone settings>apps>3 Dots upper right corner tap,scroll to reset app preference see how that works?

Hey I did that still didn't work I even deleted most apps to see if that was a problem still nothing I already tried booting safe mode

Which launcher your currently using?

Maybe try clearing cache in recovery ?

Yes just cache, then reboot

If it's not working in Safe Mode and you also cleared the system cache partition, then I agree, factory reset is next step.
