Hey everybody, new guy to Android here (REALLY NEW - coming from 9 years of iOS).
I have a Galaxy S8, running 7.0, and having issues with notifications on the lock screen. I'm sure it's something that I'm either not doing, or doing wrong.
When I'm on the lock screen, and a notification shows up, my natural reaction is to swipe it from left to right, expecting that that action will take me directly into the app. Instead, when I swipe from left to right, the notification just disappears and I'm left still sitting there on the lock screen. You would think that swiping the notification would take you right into the app (Messages, Words with Friends, etc). That's how iOS was, anyway.
Is this a bug/glitch, or do I need to change something in Settings?
