Nougat battery life

How are you finding the battery life? Doze OTG and doze in general are absolutely smashing it for me. Standard Sit is about the same as before but idle use is going great for me. This is at 50% left.

I just downloaded the version for my country and flashed it

Battery Life so far seems good. This is the best I've had so far. I also flashed it for my ATT S7 Edge.

Are you getting that low % of OS and Android System use? Is it because of Doze? My battery use is always dominated by those two, to the point that I can't wait to get rid of this phone because the battery life is so poor.

I've been getting 7.5 hours of SOT. I used to get maximum 5 on Marshmallow. And maximum 4.5 on the Google Pixel.

I sleep with 100% battery and wake up with 97%. This is the best battery life I've gotten after the Xperia Z3.

And this is on high performance mode. I've thought of sharing a screenshot but I never knew this thread existed.

If you download the AndroidCentral App from the Blackberry App store, you can't even add a photo. Ah good times lol

@Est_XCIV, Great to see 6+ hours of SOT. Now we getting somewhere with good battery life

@Rizwan Basir, its rare to see 7+ hours SOT but good to see its possible!

Went to sleep last night with my phone at 50% and it died during the night so my alarm didn't go off this morning. So not loving the battery life so far! lol.

I reset my phone a few days ago and while it seemed to help for a day or two it didn't take long for the battery hog to come back in full force.

I'm currently at 20hours usage with 19% left and the phone being idle for 90% of that time. Samsung needs to fix this already.

I have the same hideousness on MM. If the S8 is has the same drain I'm going to go get an LG G6 or something. If its on par with what I had with the N7 I'll be happy.

This is what gets me, without Power Saving this phone gets awesome battery life.

Hi Everyone,

I might be late responding to this thread. but I have been trying to find a solution to my battery drain issue since Nougat update. I have wiped cache, reset all permissions, but still my android system consumes upto 60% of life since last battery charge and rest everything is below 8%. I don't know how to solve this issue. I don't play games, I don't listen to music. I hardly use phone for camera.
