Nougat E-Mail Notifications don't dismiss when stale

Prior to Nougat update, if I had a new e-mail notification pop up on my LG G5, using the stock E-Mail app, and then I checked, responded to, and deleted that e-mail on my computer, the notification would disappear from my phone. But now with the bundled notifications, even if I check the e-mail in Outlook on my computer, the notification remains on my G5 until I clear it. Most other apps (Facebook, Hangouts, Inbox) that I've looked at clear the notification once I check the message on another device. So even if it's a stale e-mail notification, it stays. I've checked my Sync settings in the EMail app, and they are set to Push, so I don't think it's a timing issue.Anyone else having this issue or know a fix?
