Nougat update failed?

I checked for updates again about half an hour after the first update failed. It downloaded again and this time it worked! I'm running nougat now on my 6p.

Yeah. I contacted support and ended up sounding like a dumb dumb :/. They verified it was just a preparation update. My excited eyes saw what they wanted to I guess. However I just received the official non beta OTA nougat update (read it like 3 times to be sure lol) and it's working good so far. A little buggy when tinkering with the multi screen functionality but I'm sure it will be fixed. Haven't run it long enough to check the rapid battery drain bug but in 30 minutes of constant use it seems about normal. Get ready everyone it is coming ahhhh!!!!!! Sorry to hear there are some other issues with this install that people are having. Did everyone un-enroll from beta first? (Assuming you were enrolled in the first place)

I now have a new OTA update downloading onto my 6p. This one is the same size as the one that previously failed... let's see what happens.

Android 7.0 successfully is now installed onto my 6p. I still dont think the OTA update i received yesterday was a preparation update though, as it was the same size as the one that installed today.

Well at last today in the morning the 7.0 update hit my phone again. I installed and now I am in Android 7.0 at last. So the cure is just to wait. In my case it was almost 1 week.

Hope you all will receive the update notif again.

I got the update notification earlier and immediately started the download followed by the install process. I set my phone down to let it do its thing and install the update. I looked back at it a few minutes later and there it was asking me for the password pattern. I entered it and it turned out that the update had failed because im now back to 6.0.1 Marshmellow and can no longer see the update after manual checking for it. Anyone else have this problem as well?

Got same problem on my nexus 6p , it's now asking to download again the entire 1 gb

Met exactly the same thing on my Nexus 6p.
First upgrade failed probably because the android system update, which immediately follows downloading the update and before rebooting, didn't reach 100%.
Somehow the second upgrade attempt was able to pull it off at that step.
There was no un-enroll/re-enroll in between the two upgrade attempts

I just had the same problem. But now when I am checking in system updates, it says my system is up to date. But the software is Android 6 the build number is mtc20l. How do I update to nougat now?

Really android 7.0 ******* battery very quickly. Users has to keep their charger in hand to charge if mobile going to die before.

Who the hell is build this version, ******* testing team worked well as well.

Lot of things failed in Android 7.0 nougat. The main thing is without proper testing in multiple devices released it in market.

How long it will take to fix this issues. We have two options either we need to wait for it or reset the phone.
