Nougat

Nougat has been a great update for me.

New notifications allows you to get more completed
Seems very stable with almost no hugs
Double tap recent apps to switch to last used app
Split screen multitasking is amazing!

Also my battery life is completely different in a good way. I was only getting 4h SOT and now it's 5h SOT. Better battery life was the first thing I noticed after the update.

Finally I also had the boot loop issue as others have had after updating. Just take out sim and SD card and it comes out if the loop.

How do you split screen?

I'll echo all mkgino's observations, although my update was uneventful. Great update, the phone is snappier and smoother than ever. You can also get into multi-window by long pressing the top of a frame in the recent apps display and dragging it to the top of the screen.

Maybe it's just a coincidence but it seems I'm having fewer misfires from the fingerprint reader since the update.

I've got to say other than having to pull the SIM card and SD card out and her to let the phone finish finish updating. That's such a weird bug. My phone is much snappier and seems like battery life is very much improved and not having that Google services bug I was having. It's a welcome addition to Bill change the quick settings.

Another thing I gotta say is it only have a phone number for about 45 minutes and I'm already down 10% now this is after the update mad at around 7 o'clock last night. So I guess I'm going to let it settle and it doesn't improve I'll just have to do a factory reset.

I don't know what the hell they did but wtf at this new battery life?

Is this a new doze or is it because I left the boost app to do its thing? Standby battery life is just as good as my iPhone now (dare I say better?).

I am not getting the same thing I had it last night around 7 p.m. and this morning I'm plugged it lost 20% in an hour. Recharged it to 100 NSS only have 13 hours a better life Google Play services using like 40% of my battery.im thinking about doing a factory reset. But I'm waiting a few days to see if it settles down. What do you guys think.and adoptable storage do I need to reformat a SD card or just need to redo adoptable storage.

Does anyone show the split screen where the home button is?

In recents, press and hold one of the apps you want to split screen. White text will appear near the top of the screen for you to drag the window to to split screen. They hid this well.

Anyone know how to get rid of Plurk? I was sharing a cat that I collected from the Nougat Easter Egg, and I noticed Plurk was an option that I could share to. Anyone know how I can remove it?

I always do a cahce wipe in recovery before pressing the red button for factory reset. Most performance bugs can be resolved with a cache wipe I find...but if that doesn't work then it could be one of your apps isn't playing well with the Nougat update....you might have to reinstall apps carefully and watch out for that rogue app if possible....just my two cents 😊

It seems to be settling down. But I will do a cache Wipe just in case. Remind tell me how to do that again.

I haven't had any issues so far, but I have not pushed or dug too deeply yet into Nougat. So far it seems stable, nothing has upgefuched on it so far.

Question. If I bought my phone in Hong Kong (Taiwanese phone) but live in Eastern Europe (Not in the EU) where/which region do I get the OTA from?
