Nova launcher and stock themes

Dumb question probably, but would I be able to keep my current theme if I go from TouchWiz to Nova Launcher? S7Edge.

Yep, I don't even use touchwiz. I wish the icons from the theme applied to Nova though. That would be nice.

Only issue is this one theme keeps taking over. Did before Nova and after. I had picked one that's a trial and it worked but reverted back to this other stock one I downloaded called Sky. I can't figure out how to disable Sky-delete isn't an option

I downloaded the theme I had on my previous phone (free one, not a trial one) and it's stayed on as the theme, no takeover by that other app.
