Nova launcher drops back into TouchWiz launcher

I've installed Nova launcher and set it up as my default launcher. Works fine. Except that three times today, for no discernible reason, the phone drops back into the TouchWiz launcher. I've put an icon for Nova so it's easy to get back in but it's annoying and I can't find out why it's happening.

Anyone else have this problem? Found a solution?

No issues with Nova Prime. I am running 5.1beta6. Consider to sign up for the beta.

I have prime non-beta (5.0.3) and it works without any issues so far.

Make sure you have set Nova as the default home option.

Make sure nova is set as default in the system settings.

It happened for me once or twice early on but not since. I just assumed it was due to the setup process.
