Droid-life just tweeted his sources are saying the earliest the galaxy will be released is november 28th.

Seems like everyone's "sources" are wrong. We just have to kick back and wait. It will be here soon :)

This is better than December, but I was really hoping to show off my awesome new phone to my family at Thanksgiving...

Can't say I buy into that. I believe Verizon will do what they can to launch this before Black Friday. It wouldn't make sense for them to release afterwards unless there really is something wrong with the phone.

I don't buy it at all. I've heard many more people claim that it would be out mid November, and most "sources" still think it will be out before the end of November. I say November 28th at the latest.

And feel free to use me as an official "source"

Why would Verizon release the phone before or on Black Friday? They want to sell Razrs. Seems like a wise businesses decision especially if they're not moving as many Razrs. Those stupid commercials cost a lot of money.

The last time Droid-Life noted a release date, it was based off a drama queen and two unknown folks from twitter who heard it from store managers who had a mythical meeting (they did not). They don't exactly screen their sources very well.

I have to agree with this because it does cost a lot of money to produce those ads. Then again it the 28th or after release date could be wrong because they will want to have the galaxy nexus out before bf

It also costs a lot of money to move used inventory when everyone takes back their Razr's to get a Nexus when they realize how much better it is for the same price.

Verizon doesn't make a dime off selling phones. They make money off monthly contracts. And if that's the case why in the world do they care what phone they sell. As long as that phone has a data plan attatched to it. And to think they would rather lose possible sales of GN right now, for a fraction more Razr sales is a little ridiculous IMO. Again JMO.

I'd like to know why it isn't already out. If there's a hangup with the phone (pun intended), then say that there's a new feature or capability on its way...

The silence is deafening.

Perhaps, but most people have never heard of the Galaxy Nexus. Most people will probably enjoy their Razr and have no idea about the GN.
