November 28th the earliest

Well, like I said before, If this phone isn't released by Monday I'll just buy a Razr and use the hell out of it and return it when the nexus comes out....and I'll let the people at the store know this is what I'm doing. Whether this is right or wrong, I really don't care...especially if they lose money....sick of the waiting.

Cyber Monday baby! November 28th! Ill take it. Just bought the Razr yesterday. Have till the ninth of January to return. Going with the nexus, just had to try the Razr, nice phone but can see it only getting two updates though.

Why would Verizon release the phone before or on Black Friday? They want to sell Razrs. Seems like a wise businesses decision especially if they're not moving as many Razrs. Those stupid commercials cost a lot of money.

I could not agree more with this - this all seems like a marketing move, and probably a smart one from a business standpoint.

No, its not a smart move from a marketing prospective. Verizon needs to keep and make customers. They make money off plans not phones.

The bloatware is enough to help offset the cost of their subsidization -- I.E. -- selling a phone for 300 rather than 600.

what sells more phones?

"buy our super thin comparable phone, that overheats while idle"
or
"buy the first phone with android 4.0 on America's fastest network?"

More likely the delay (if there indeed is one) is because of the rumored power struggle between Google and Verizon.

This is the greatest troll by Verizon that I can remember [which isn't that long of a history for me]

And 2nd reliable source chimes in with November 28 G-Nex date. #justsayin

and they are changing their tune again:

Btw, these rumors of November 28 appear to be coming from indirect VZW retailers. Chance of the 21st at corporate stores still? #hmmm

I hate you all

Have me pressing F5 on here everyday now, and I had never been on this site since I picked up my Thunderbolt.

Typical Droid Life.

Agree I mean the other day they were all about p3 being correct and it not coming until dec at the earliest now they change their tune because of their so called "source" Droid-life has been way off most of the time and now it just seems like their source if they even have one is just saying every possible thur ish in nov.

Current stock of RAZRs is a sunk cost. They need to continue the marketing blitz and move the product to cover it. It is a smart move.

They will continue selling razrs and most likely will have sales around black friday which alone will give some enough incentive to buy the cheaper phone than one that is $299.
