I agree, wouldn't give up the pixel either not just for camera but total experience it offers ..like having Google first hand features and updates .

I pre-ordered the S10+ 1TB Ceramic Black model. As much as I like Google's phones and software I am ready for a change. I'll keep my 128 GB Pixel 3 XL just in case. This will be only my 3rd Samsung phone. The first Samsung phone I had was the Galaxy Nexus and that phone was more Google than Samsung. The other phone I had was the Galaxy Note 2. I know there has been plenty of change since the Note 2 was released.

I thought the N9 could hold it's own against the P3XL. Not as good but good enough. Some reviews suggest that the S10 is an improvement over the N9. If that is the case, I'm good with that.

I think it will be better in certain situations then pixel but not in still pictures or night mode. before the pixel came out with night mode the s9 ,note 9 had best night shots but Google changed that

Edit : the way Google process the picture its very hard to beat
