I was doing a comparison of my Essential against my wife's Galaxy S8. Her phone was consistently much faster using the T-Mobile network. Has anyone else checked their Essential against another phone? I'm wondering if it's a radio issue and if that impacts the speed and/or coverage.

I have checked mine against my Pixel xl, a Nexus 5X, a Nexus 6P and a few others in the UK and in NYC and there were barely any differences....

Thanks for your follow up. I have read that there was something going on with Ookla lately. I ran both phones on fast.com and had more similar results. I was getting spooked that there was a radio deficiency that I hadn't noticed before, but it appears to be OK.
