Obligatory battery life thread

I guess I'll start the almost mandatory "What's your battery life" thread and ask if anyone has any tips. Here's a screenshot of what I got so far. Not too impressed, even though I love this thing.

Is this from a full charge? What is the screen set to? Personally, I find that setting the screen brightness between 40%-50% is good enough unless I'm in an area with brighter conditions. Also, set the screen timeout to less than 1-minute. I'd suggest 15-30 seconds if possible.

Wow, less than two hours??!! That doesn't seem right... Most of the reviews and user accounts I've seen so far give it at least 5 or 6 hours of full-on time. A few days if you just use it once in a while and leave it there, doing nothing... So weird...

That is from a full charge. I do have the screen at full brightness. I may do a complete battery drain and charge it fully.

I'm very impressed. My brother left it on when he shipped it last Wednesday . It arrived yesterday evening still going with 18% battery left and a lot of apps up on standby

I'm not all that impressed with the battery life either, BUT it's waaaaaay better than that. I figure it's about half of what my iPad 3 is (10 hours). I have to charge this thing about every other day, which is a shame since a big point behind buying it was to take it traveling where I'd be without charging ability for extended periods. So it's no longer an option for that. Honestly, I'm debating returning it, but I do like it quite a bit, so I'm torn.
