Is there any way to disable this? I have keypad tones disabled and everything but any time I end a call it makes a very very loud beep.

It's there at the end of a call. I use around 1.5k to 2k mins a month and can confirm it's there.I don't make/receive a huge number of calls on my "phone" but can't recall noticing an end-of-call beep. Of course, it's possible that I am just not paying attention.
Are we talking about the stock Phone app, or calls made with Hangouts or WhatsApp?
Connected to a Bluetooth device (earbuds, car audio system), or Android Auto?
Incoming calls only? Outgoing calls only? Or, both?
Yep. An Android "feature" since at least Lollipop. I wish I could turn this off, or at least control the volume of the beep. It's there at the end of a call. I use around 1.5k to 2k mins a month and can confirm it's there.
I don't know of any way to disable it.
Not sure. For me the beep isn't a huge deal since I have the phone away from my ear or if I end a call in my truck it beeps on the phone and doesn't pass it to the speakers.Yep. An Android "feature" since at least Lollipop. I wish I could turn this off, or at least control the volume of the beep.
Come to think of it stock Android is kind of lame when it comes to controlling sound events like ringers, notifications, media volume controls, etc. Why in the world is ringer volume and notifications volume tied together?
Another "feature" since Marshmallow is the ascending volume on ringing. Would like to get rid of that too.
