October Update N10+ Unlocked

Interesting, I got the update earlier today on the US unlocked model on Verizon. I'm seeing US unlocked models on Verizon and Sprint getting updates based on this thread. Wondering if there is a pattern here.

Sure but at least someone on T-Mobile or AT&T should have received. On previous occasions I have seen pretty much everyone get the update same time on the US unlocked model irrespective of the carrier. I'm thinking definitely something up this time

Reddit thread, couple of them said removing the T-Mobile SIM and then putting a Verizon SIM made the update available to them.

I have seen this common with Pixel where Verizon got pretty much immediately even in stage roll out and those using TMobile SIM used to get few days later.

I'm guessing in the current update case may be TMobile hasn't certified the update yet on their precious network

Either way f u Samsung if you are waiting on carrier, even though I already got mine

Actually, there are some critical vulnerabilities that Google just patched within the past couple weeks. There are some serious vulnerabilities that Samsung had to patch on One UI.

I have the Verizon version. I haven't gotten it yet. That's rare, the unlocked version got it before the carrier versions did.

Once in awhile the unlocked version get it first before carrier , but not all time its usually carrier that do.

Last update unlocked was slow on Verizon

How is that possible when the SamsungI design is more complex than the bare-boned Google Pixel's? Samsung also has a larger stable with different regional models.

Trust me, you ain't gotta explain that to me. Lol. You also have to factor in the Carriers in the states that have to push their updates as well.

That's Samsung own doing making million different firmware variants and bending over to anyone in every region instead of having an unified software vision like some other companies have. I don't even have to name them

I have unlocked on t mobile I previously updated it to t mobile firmware using odin. So it did not get update Ota. But when I connected it to smart switch it showed then I was able to get this latest update. Working well.

This is my unlocked now.

I still don't have the Oct. patch on unlocked 10-. What gives?
